The Australian economy recorded growth in gross domestic product in the fourth and final quarter of last year ending in December 2025, according to estimates released this morning, Wednesday, March 4, by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). This compares to a revised growth of 0.5% in the third quarter, exceeding market expectations of a 0.7% increase. The economy expanded by 2.6% year-on-year, compared to 2.1% (expectations of 2.2%).
