Canada’s GDP remained unchanged in March at 0.05% after increasing by 0.1% in February, according to data released moments ago by Statistics Canada, better than expectations for a contraction of 0.1%.

In the details, the growth in the service-producing industries sector was unchanged at 0.0%, while the commodity-producing industries decreased by 0.1%, and the growth in the accommodation and food services sector contracted by 2.2%, and retail trade decreased by 0.8%.
