Bank of America posted a net profit of $7.3 billion, with earnings per share of 85 cents (expectations at 71 cents), bringing the bank’s share up by 4.47% at the close.
Morgan Stanley Bank, in turn, announced profits of $3.7 billion in the third quarter ending in September, bringing the share to $1.98, compared to expectations of $1.69 per share. .
Citigroup also announced profits that exceeded estimates, revenues estimated at 17.15 billion dollars, and earnings per share of about 2.15 dollars (expectations 1.65) in the third quarter, bringing the company’s share to 0.75%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed yesterday’s session, up by about (534) points, at the close at 34.912 levels, with gains of about 1.56%, and it is now trading in the futures for today’s session, Friday, at 34.898 levels, up by about 114 points.
While the S&P 500 index recorded highs at the close at 4.438 levels, up by about (74 points) or 1.71, and it is now trading in futures at 4.445 levels, up by about 16 points.
While the Nasdaq index recorded gains of 251 points to close the session at 14,823 points, recording increases of about 1.73%, and it is now trading at 15.097 levels, up by about 60 points.
