The US private sector added about 183K jobs in January, according to figures released a few moments ago by ADP, after adding about 176K jobs in April’s revised reading from 122K, while expectations indicated an addition of 148K jobs.
In detail, the goods production sector lost about 6K jobs, while the manufacturing sector lost about 13K jobs, while the services sector, which includes the trade, transportation, utilities, activities and information sectors, added about 190K jobs.
