 New orders for durable goods recorded growth in March, less than market expectations, according to the report of the US Census Bureau issued today, Tuesday, March 26 (April), where data showed a decline in the March reading to 0.8%, compared to the February reading, which was down by 2.1% and less than market expectations.
which indicated an increase of 1%. The main index, excluding transport prices, rose to 1.1% in March, compared to a decline of about 0.6% in February, to come in better than expectations that indicated a rise to 0.5%, on the other hand, orders excluding defense rose by about 1.2%, orders for computers and electronic products rose by about 2.6% or By 0.7 billion dollars to reach 26.3 billion in March.
The US dollar has been trading on the rise since the beginning of the European session, rising by about 0.20%, trading at 101.93 levels.
