Data issued by the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the United States of America a few moments ago showed an increase in the CPI, which measures inflation, by 0.4% in September, after rising by about 0.3% in August, to come better than expectations that indicated its stability at 0.3%, in contrast, the index rose Annually over the past 12 months to 5.4%.
The main index, excluding food and energy prices, rose in September to 0.2%, compared to August’s 0.1% reading, in line with expectations.
In the details of the index, the monthly food index recorded a growth of 0.9% compared to 0.4% in August, while the annual index rose by 4.6%, in contrast, the energy index declined to 1.3% compared to 2% in the August reading and rose by 24.8% in the annual reading.

The US dollar recorded gains after the statement by about 0.10% and is trading at 94.41 levels, while the euro is declining and trading at 1.1542 levels.
Gold, in turn, records declines of more than 0.80% or $15 before the opening of the American session, to trade at levels of $1760 an ounce.
The yield on US Treasury bonds for ten years is trading at 1.593, up by about 0.80%, rising strongly from 1.565 levels that it was trading on before the statement.
